Located in the antique sailors and fishermen quarter, in the Barceloneta, near the best beach of the city, the 2 bedrooms Barceloneta Beach Apartments 1 offer a good standard of accommodation for your vacation in Barcelona.
We offer you 3 Barceloneta Beach Apartments, each with 3 rooms, all decorated and equipped at the same standard, in the same building without lift.
All the Barceloneta Beach Apartments 1 have 40 m2, with an excellent layout: one double bedroom, small room with bunk bed, full bathroom with shower, living-dining room and American-style kitchen. Fully equipped, down to the last detail, to insure the comfort of home in the heart of Barcelona. The kitchen has all the accessories needed: dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, coffee maker, squeezer, fridge, vitroceramic electric plates, oven, microwave, toaster and sandwich maker.
To make your stay more pleasant, the apartments have air conditioning, television with international channels, safe, Hi-Fi equipment, internet WiFi, clothes washer and dryer, hair dryer, iron.
The Barceloneta Beach 1 tourist apartments are located at the Barcelona beach. La Barceloneta, the traditional quarter of sailors and fish men, is famous for its restaurants. Located next to the Olympic Port with over 40 bars and restaurants, the neighborhood has become appreciated for its nightlife. Their beach offer the possibility to practice all types of nautical sports or to enjoy the sun and the ambient of the famous chiringuito – the name used for beach terraces.
The location is central and there is no need to use public transportation to get to the touristic attractions in the historical centre of Barcelona. In 10-15 minutes to walk by the Port of Maremagnum or crossing the Borne quarter will lead you to the famous Las Ramblas. However, for those who prefer to explore other parts of the city, it may be useful to know that the apartment is very well connected by public transport. There are several bus stops and a metro station (Barceloneta) very close to the apartments.
Barceloneta or Little Barcelona was built after the king Felipe V ordered the construction of a new fortress (La Ciutadella, nowadays a park) in order to control and punish the city of Barcelona, that fought against him during the War of Spanish Succession. The fortress was planned very close to the city so that a tenth of it was demolished, and the people who lived in this part had no compensation and as a bigger punishment were obliged to demolish their own houses. The streets are straight and with a square shape. There are still some houses from this period, easy to recognize because they are much lower than the others and have a simple neoclassical decoration...

Payment:
A deposit of 15% is required to finalize your reservation for this apartment, to be completed within 3 days . Upon receiving it we will issue an updated confirmation of your booking and the remaining balance will be paid on arrival.
The cleaning fee of 40 euros is also required on arrival.
The payment of remaining balance can be done on arrival in cash or by credit card. On arrival credit card detailes are requested, as guarantee against damage to the apartment.
Cancellation Policy:
We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and we are notified of cancellation with short notice before the scheduled arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation.
There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us more than 90 days before arrival, and the deposit paid at the time of the booking will be returned to you. If we are notified of cancellation less than 90 days before arrival, the cancellation charges are as follows:
20% of the deposit paid if the cancellation is done 89 - 60 days before the scheduled arrival. The rest of the deposit is returned to you.
50% of the deposit paid if the cancellation is done 59 - 30 days before the scheduled arrival. The rest of the deposit is returned to you.
100% of the deposit paid if the cancellation is done 30 days or less before the scheduled arrival.
Please note that in the event of sickness or change of flights on last minute the cancellation cost may be covered by your travel insurance (you should check the conditions of your travel insurance for more details).
In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit. In practice we rarely had this situation, like for instance if the plumbing or electric installations have a problem that cannot be fixed right away; in this case our obligation is to provide you with alternative arrangements.
Check-in and Check-out:
The standard check-in time is at 14:00 and standard check-out before 12:00.
We may be able to arrange early check in, depending on the actual situation of each reservation. We should be able to confirm the possibility of early check in on request, 2 days before scheduled arrival. For early or late check-ins and check outs, there is an extra fee as follows:
Check in between 20:00 and 24:00 - 20 €
Check in between 24:00 and 7:00 - 50 €
Check in between 7:00 and 8:00 - 20 €
Check out before 8:00 - 30 €
Check-out after 12:00 can only be arranged if one extra night is paid.
One of our colleagues will meet you at the apartment to greet you and give you your keys. Please take note of the contact number above.
Please make sure you don’t forget anything inside the apartment on your check out. We will do our best to help out in case you tell us you have forgotten items at the apartment, however we cannot be held responsible for their loss.

If you are driving to Barcelona, please remember that if you wish to rent a car from another country, you must tell the rental company that you wish to take the car out of the country and where you want to take it to. The rental company will have to provide you with all the paperwork, including the authority to take your rental car out of the country. It is vital that you have that letter of authority and also confirmation of insurance cover. If you have a car from a country that is not part of the European Union, you will also need its green card.
Visa and other requirements for traveling to Spain:
If you are from a country that does not need Schengen visa for Spain (except for the other countries of the European Union), please note that your passport must be valid for a period of at least 90 days beyond the expected length of stay in Spain. Depending on the country you are from, this period might be longer, up to 6 months beyond the expected length of stay.
If you are traveling on an American, Canadian, or Australian passport or one issued by a member country of the European Union, or a country with a visa waiver agreement with Spain, no visa is required.
Please note that if you do not need visa for Spain, your passport must be valid for a period of at least 90 days beyond the expected length of stay.
Visas are currently required for visitors traveling on Russian and African passports and from most Asian countries.
