In the middle of the picturesque Born district, with a stunning views of the Gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar and to the Passeig de Borne, this one bedroom apartment with a young atmosphere offer a good accommodation for up to 4 persons. The Born district has become in the last years a trendy district with lots of fashionable shops, bars and restaurants.
The Borne Santa Maria Apartment has 50 sq.m. and is located on the 4Th floor of the building with lift. The bedroom has a double bed, night tables, reading lamps, lamp and wardrobe while the living room has TV table and chairs, double sofa bed. The apartment has a modern bathroom with toilet, bathtub with shower and washbasin. The kitchen is equipped with cookware and kitchen utensils, iron & ironing board, washing machine, cooking hob, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge / freezer and coffee maker.
The district of Born is part of Gothic Quarter and it stretches from the Via Laietana to the Ciutadella Park, like a labyrinth of medieval narrow streets with lots of tapas and modern cocktail bars, romantic restaurants with candlelight and trendy boutiques. Borne is also the district of Picasso Museum and the Music Palace which can be reached in a short walk.
Gothic is one of the quarters of the Ciutat Vella (Catalan for "Old city") is, as its name suggests, the oldest part of Barcelona. It includes buildings and attractions from all the city history and has the most important monuments (except the most famous modernist ones).
Among the many places to visit, stand out Las Ramblas, Plaza Reial, Plaza St Jaume, the Church Sta Maria del Mar, Palau de la Musica...
La Rambla is an iconic and busy street in central Barcelona , popular with both tourists and locals alike. A 1.2 kilometer-long tree-lined pedestrian mall in the Barri Gòtic, it connects Plaça Catalunya in the center with the Christopher Columbus monument at Port Vell . Usually full of street theatre, cafés and market stalls, it serves as the emotional hub of Barcelona.

Payment:
All prices shown on our website are full costs of accommodation.
A deposit payment of 15% of the total cost of accommodation is required at the time of your booking.
The cleaning fee of 25 euros is also required on arrival and included in the price calculations above.
The payment of remaining balance can be done on arrival in cash or by credit card.
Due to charges made by credit (and debit) card companies there is a 1.75% charge for credit card payments. Visa and Mastercard are accepted, however we do not accept Amex and Diners cards.
Please bring a photocopy of a photo ID of the person paying by credit card.
On arrival there is a security deposit for potential damages or loss of keys, which can be guaranteed with credit card details or 150 euros, refundable at the end of your stay.
Groups of 6 or more will be charged a security deposit for damages of 50 euros/person, refundable at the end of your stay.
Cancellation Policy:
We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and we are notified of cancellation with short notice before the scheduled arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation.
There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us more than 30 days before arrival, and the deposit paid at the time of the booking will be returned to you. However an administrative fee of 20 euros will be retained. If we are notified of cancellation less than 30 days before arrival, the cancellation charges are as follows:
Cancellation 30 to 15 days before arrival: 20% of the total accommodation cost
Cancellation 14 to 8 days before arrival: 30% of the total accommodation cost
Cancellation 7 to 4 days before arrival: 50% of the total accommodation cost
No show or cancellation 3 days before arrival: total accommodation cost
Partial Cancellation: In case of reduction of number of guests or of number of nights, the cost of your stay will be recalculated, and will be subject to a 20 euros administration fee. The changes must be advised more than 7 days before arrival. If you notify us 7 days before your arrival or less the recalculation of price will not apply.
Please note that in the event of sickness or change of flights on last minute the cancellation cost may be covered by your travel insurance (you should check the conditions of your travel insurance for more details).
In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit. In practice we rarely had this situation, like for instance if the plumbing or electric installations have a problem that cannot be fixed right away; in this case our obligation is to provide you with alternative arrangements.
Check-in and Check-out:
The standard check-in time is at 15:00 and standard check-out before 11:00.
We may be able to arrange early check in, depending on the actual situation of each reservation. We should be able to confirm the possibility of early check in on request, 2 days before scheduled arrival. For early or late check-ins and check outs, there is an extra fee as follows:
- Weekdays: 10 euros per each hour after 20:00 (10 euros - after 20:00, 20 euros - after 21:00, 30 euros - after 22:00, 40 euros - after 23:00, 50 euros - after 24:00 and later)
- Saturday: 10 euros per each hour after 18:00 (10 euros - after 18:00, 20 euros - after 19:00, 30 euros - after 20:00, 40 euros - after 21:00, 50 euros - after 22:00 and later)
- Sunday and holidays all check-ins between 10:00 - 18:00 cost 10 euros (20 euros - after 18:00, 30 euros - after 19:00, 40 euros - after 20:00, 50 euros - after 22:00 and later)
Please make sure you don’t forget anything inside the apartment on your check out. We will do our best to help out in case you tell us you have forgotten items at the apartment, however we cannot be held responsible for their loss.

If you are driving to Barcelona, please remember that if you wish to rent a car from another country, you must tell the rental company that you wish to take the car out of the country and where you want to take it to. The rental company will have to provide you with all the paperwork, including the authority to take your rental car out of the country. It is vital that you have that letter of authority and also confirmation of insurance cover. If you have a car from a country that is not part of the European Union, you will also need its green card.
Visa and other requirements for traveling to Spain:
If you are from a country that does not need Schengen visa for Spain (except for the other countries of the European Union), please note that your passport must be valid for a period of at least 90 days beyond the expected length of stay in Spain. Depending on the country you are from, this period might be longer, up to 6 months beyond the expected length of stay.
If you are traveling on an American, Canadian, or Australian passport or one issued by a member country of the European Union, or a country with a visa waiver agreement with Spain, no visa is required.
Please note that if you do not need visa for Spain, your passport must be valid for a period of at least 90 days beyond the expected length of stay.
Visas are currently required for visitors traveling on Russian and African passports and from most Asian countries.
