High quality one bedroom apartments at economic rates
Located at the northern border of Gracia Quarter (on Ronda General Mitre) the Mitre apartments offer accommodation of high standard in a quiet, active, safe and well-communicated quarter. There are 5 apartments of 55 sq.m. each, located in a modern building, with large rooms and high ceilings. The apartments are very sunny due to their large windows, with very pleasant views of the city.
Each apartment consists in a double room (with double bed and wardrobe), a sunny 22 sq.m. living room, with a double sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The equipment at the apartment includes air conditioning and central heating, wi-fi internet, fridge with freezer, microwave, iron, electric stove, all kitchen cookware needed.
The area is very well connected to the rest of the city. You can walk through the bohemian Gracia Quarter to the Paseo de Gracia with its famous Gaudi houses La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Crossing the Gracia quarter is a pleasant walk, however if you wish to reach the center quicker you can easily take the metro: the metro station Lesseps is at only 150 m. from the apartment, and it leads directly to the major points of interest of the historical centre: 2 short stops to Paseo de Gracia, then it also stops at Plaza Catalunya, goes along Las Ramblas and stops at its southern end, at Columbus statue near the Antique harbor; it goes up the hill again and stops at Parallel (from here you can take the funicular to Montjuic fortress), and even reaches Plaza Espanya (where most International Fairs are hosted) with the elegant National Museum of Art and the Magical Fountain.
Gracia, at the north end of the Passeig de Grącia, is the most distinctively Catalan neighborhood to be found in easy walking distance of Barcelona center. A prosperous neighborhood, Grącia nonetheless has more a local than a cosmopolitan feel to it, with much of life lived on the many public squares. It“s also a very good place to start (or finish) a walk through the most important modernist buildings.

Payment:
A deposit of 20% is required to finalize your reservation for this apartment, to be completed within 3 days. Upon receiving it we will issue an updated confirmation of your booking and the remaining balance will be paid on arrival.
The payment of remaining balance can be done on arrival in cash.
Cancellation Policy:
We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and we are notified of cancellation with short notice before the scheduled arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation.
There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us more than 60 days before arrival, and the deposit paid at the time of the booking will be returned to you (minus a small handling fee). If we are notified of cancellation less than 60 days before arrival, the deposit is retained as cancellation charge.
Please note that in the event of sickness or change of flights on last minute the cancellation cost may be covered by your travel insurance (you should check the conditions of your travel insurance for more details).
In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit. In practice we rarely had this situation, like for instance if the plumbing or electric installations have a problem that cannot be fixed right away; in this case our obligation is to provide you with alternative arrangements.
Check-in and Check-out:
The standard check-in time is at 16:00 and standard check-out before 11:00.
For late check-ins, after office hours, there is a fee of 50 euros.
The office hours are 9:00 14:00 and 16:00 19:00; we would be happy to assist you with any problem you may have during your stay, within office hours.
One of our colleagues will meet you at the apartment to greet you and give you your keys. Please remember to call or send a text message to our colleague from the airport (number 0034 636 074 727), to let him know you are on your way to the apartment. He will then come at the apartment to greet you.
We also offer private transfer service from the airport: the cost of this service is 45 euros for a regular car (up to 4 people) and 60 euros for a minivan. This includes a 45 minutes waiting from the time your plane lands. The transfer has to be booked in advance.
Check-in is usually formalized by a signed contract between you and our company. It is sometimes possible that our colleague would not speak English, so if you need additional information please tell him to call Gerard and he will be of assistance to you in English.
The check-out time is before 11:00 AM, to allow us time to get the apartment ready for the next guests. If needed we can meet at the apartment at an agreed time between 9:00 and 11:00 AM in working days, for your check out.
At check you can leave the keys on top of the table in the apartment and just close the door. Please make sure you don’t forget anything inside the apartment and that the building entrance door is not locked with key. We will do our best to help out in case you tell us you have forgotten items at the apartment, however we cannot be held responsible for their loss.
Please respect the peace in the neighborhood, the silence hours in the building and the apartment’s integrity. Thank you.
If you are driving to Barcelona, please remember that if you wish to rent a car from another country, you must tell the rental company that you wish to take the car out of the country and where you want to take it to. The rental company will have to provide you with all the paperwork, including the authority to take your rental car out of the country. It is vital that you have that letter of authority and also confirmation of insurance cover. If you have a car from a country that is not part of the European Union, you will also need its green card.
Visa and other requirements for traveling to Spain:
If you are from a country that does not need Schengen visa for Spain (except for the other countries of the European Union), please note that your passport must be valid for a period of at least 90 days beyond the expected length of stay in Spain. Depending on the country you are from, this period might be longer, up to 6 months beyond the expected length of stay.
If you are traveling on an American, Canadian, or Australian passport or one issued by a member country of the European Union, or a country with a visa waiver agreement with Spain, no visa is required.
Please note that even if you do not need visa for Spain, your passport must be valid for a period of at least 90 days beyond the expected length of stay.
Visas are currently required for visitors traveling on Russian and African passports and from most Asian countries.
